In Memory of Sakina Barnes

She spent her life devoted to her ever growing family and was a dedicated volunteer at the Vietnamese America Community of Iowa for more than a decade. She was more than a volunteer to VACI members, she was also there to give guidance and suggestions to better the VACI community.

Her family asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Vietnamese America Community of Iowa.

On behalf of the VACI Executive Committee, we deeply appreciate your thoughtful donation of $1,220.00 in memory of Sakina (Phi) Barnes. This donation will help support VACI’s mission of helping others. We are honored to keep her legacy of community volunteerism alive at the center.
